Hazardous Waste Disposal Houston is an independent editorial project. We write about the practical side of commercial hazardous waste — the parts you don't get from a compliance webinar and don't find in a training slide deck. Our contributors have spent time on plant floors, in inspection debriefs, and in the parking lots of buildings where nobody wanted to make the call about what to do with the drum sitting by the loading dock.
The site covers commercial customers only — warehouses, industrial plants, commercial contractors, property managers, and the operators of the buildings that make up the working economy of Houston and the other U.S. metros we cover. We do not write about residential waste, homeowner disposal, or household hazardous waste programs. Those are handled well by local government resources and other publications.
We also do not write about medical or clinical waste in any form. That's a specialized area with specialized handlers and its own regulatory framework, and we're not the right resource for it.
Hazardous waste disposal, universal waste, paint waste disposal, smoke detector and fire alarm disposal, and the operational and regulatory questions that come with each. Our coverage is Houston-based but nationally aware — a plant in Vernon or a property manager in Manhattan often has the same underlying questions as a facility on the Houston Ship Channel, and we try to bring what we see across cities into one place.

We are not paid to promote any specific vendor, and our comparisons include regional alternatives wherever we know of good ones.
